Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Lamy Fine Black Nib for Safari, Vista, Joy, and AL-Star by Michelle Langley

It doesn't work without effort and patience.

On the other hand, after a little convincing, this pen writes better than my original pen. I got it as a replacement for my Safari's F nib, which I've had for ages but has always felt a bit clunky and feels much wetter and wider than a fine nib should write. (I have a lot of EF nibs and the difference between this F and these EFs was mind blowing). On the more negative side, this feather didn't fit in the feeder initially. He was weak and could fall while holding the pen perpendicular to the table. I had to gently crimp it with pliers to make it tight and then carefully the back of the pin, but twist firmly from side to side along the back of the paper until the teeth are level with the food. As I said, after some formal work he writes excellently. Not sure if this is normal or if I have a lemon (although I did find a person on Reddit who had the exact same issue due to a pathetic pen he got on Revain). However, I haven't been able to find any information that suggests that replacing the Lamy pen requires that much work. who had the exact same problem due to a pathetic pen he got on Revain).
