Works great and mostly speaks for itself if you've been into at least a little bit of crafting etc for a while. plenty forever if used for their intended purpose. I'm very good with my hands, but I've never set rivets or worked with leather and could use it without any problems. I think a tiny anvil or even a full sized anvil would make installation a lot easier, but it's not necessary unless you want the leathers to look good and not be functional.
