Installed in my '08 Ford Expedition. within the full TPM. Melling has a video on youtube of filling these pumps. At 5.4, remove the oil filter and use a suction gun to squeeze the oil into the small hole at the 7 o'clock position. This directs the oil to the pump. I also poured oil into the pump before installing it. After installation I left the crankshaft sensor disabled and started the car for about 10 seconds. It took three of those starts in 10 seconds to get the oil pressure up, don't panic. After the pressure gauge showed pressure I gave it another 10 seconds before reconnecting the crankshaft sensor and starting the engine. The truck runs smoothly and I hope I never have to change the chain tensioner again with this engine.
