I've been using this stone for a few months now and have found that while the thin side offers a nice sharp edge, the 400g side wears my knives unevenly so I can't sharpen the full length of the Blade exactly at the transition to the thin side. The logo in the middle of the 400 gram side of the knife ensures that it removes more material than the rest of the blade when sweeping. I even verified this by walking straight along the thin side and observing the wear marks coming from the material coming off the knife onto the stone. doesn't stay straight and curves inward towards the spine before starting the point where my knife normally stops moving across the logo. I'll probably just throw that stone away. It was nice at first, and after sharpening over 20 knives in my kitchen I had fantastic sharpness. But after constant use I found this wear pattern on 3 knives that used this stone for their maintenance. This is unacceptable.
