Slightly rattles but fairly stable

We have two feral puppies and a newborn so this gate also prevents one of them from falling down the lobby stairs that connect our living room to the front door. In fact, when installed and deployed, it did its intended job well enough. A bit noisy but stays in place. It takes a lot of effort to install and the walls of your home are very narrow so I recommend using a strong clear nail on the ends of the pivoting grommets at the top and bottom on either side of the gate. I feel good. about the usefulness of these particular gates. He managed to keep two dogs at bay, and the stray child didn't fall down a few steps.
