This child gate was very easy to assemble on our patio. We use it to keep our dogs off the deck when we have company. The gate has 4 screw elements that touch the wall to hold the gate in place. That's all you need to install the gate. These gates have a locking mechanism that can be opened with one hand. It can be enlarged with an attachable adjuster according to your space. These gates are functional, easy to install and very easy to use.

This gate is very strong, easy to assemble and excellent quality but ended up being too small for our porches. However, this works great for those with a smaller doorway. It even has adjustable sides which should take up space but I think ours are too big which is a shame as it would be perfect for keeping our dogs out of the kitchen. A great gift for parents or pet owners.

It's worth it. Then, as you slowly screw the sides into place, the gate latch will come together. Don't overdo it with these goals like we did. To be honest the first gate we received was missing parts and the latch was broken. The company acted quickly and sent us new ones. We are very satisfied.

We have two feral puppies and a newborn so this gate also prevents one of them from falling down the lobby stairs that connect our living room to the front door.
