Revainrating 4 out of 5

Outstanding customer service!

If I could give Giandel a 6 star rating I would. I bought one of these 3000w inverters and it worked fine for about 2 weeks and then stopped working. Raven sent me a replacement. I installed this new one, turned on the microwave, it worked for 2 seconds, then the inverter went into constant overload. I plugged an extension cord into the GFI outlet in the house and connected it to the power line from the inverter to the switchboard in my RV. I turned on the microwave, worked 2 seconds, then the GFI worked. I thought I had a short in the power cord or the automatic switch behind the switchboard. I dug up the ATS, opened it up and saw several burnt wires. It was 19 years old and was used with an onboard generator that has now been discarded. I replaced the ATS and ran a new 8/3 power cord from the panel to the inverter. I contacted Giandel and asked if they had repair shops where I could send the inverter in and have it repaired at my own expense. They responded immediately, let me video the OL alarm on the LCD, I added photos of my setup and wiring, they said they would fix it. 3 days later I received an email with a tracking number. They sent me another new 3000w inverter, no hassle no bargaining! I double checked the shore power lines and the new inverter line all worked fine, tested with the built in amp/watt meter. When the new inverter arrived, I installed it, held my breath and turned it on. It works as it should! My microwave, AC (not at the same time, I'm still careful), coffee pot and even the 1500w electric heater all worked with no problems. I hope I have everything sorted out and with Elsa's excellent customer service at Jandel I will be enjoying my camper truck in the middle of nowhere.
