UPDATE: I tried this product a second time and the same thing happened! After about 7-8 uses, the handle broke while washing in the sink. Nothing complicated, just sponge and rinse. Separated - again. Never again. DO NOT BUY. I am returning this item the same week that I bought it. I'll try to use a spare to make sure it was just a disposable construction fart.
