I didn't have a huge range of fans (close to the ceiling/no open blades) so I went with this one. The concept is great but the price is a bit overpriced for what you get! Installation seems easy but the bracket they sent didn't fit the fan bracket so many words were wasted trying to mount it on the ceiling! In the end I was able to fully secure it with just 2 screws with the other 2 halves holding it. It also caused some of the metal to bend because it didn't fit through the clamp. Luckily the fan isn't very heavy so I think it will hold up, but given the price this shouldn't be an issue at first. I contacted Revain but all they wanted to do was send me installation tips (I knew how to install it) or let me uninstall and reset which after the time I spent installing wouldn't do. At least a partial refund would be nice, but no one mentioned it. Again it does what I wanted and the light is very bright! That's fine by me, but due to the faulty mounting hardware and the quality of the mount, this looks more like a $50-$75 purchase than $150!
