It seems to have worked. My old one had a crack and a serious leak so it would have been better than what I had. This sits pretty loose. I reused the o-ring from the old unit as it was slightly larger and offered a better seal. There are no leaks, but there seemed to be none in manual choke mode. I don't mind. I ordered the original OEM replacement at the same time as this one. The OEM had a longer delivery time and I went fishing. This worked for me until the OEM part arrived and I just replaced it. OEM fit much better and worked in manual mode when I needed it. So bottom line works in a pinch, but just buy the OEM.
