I bought a dishwasher 3 months ago. About 4 weeks ago I noticed a strong smell every time I opened the dishwasher to load dishes. In addition, my glasses came out of the dishwasher with white streaks. I called GE to complain, they sent a mechanic to check my car. When he arrived he gave me a sample of Cascade Platinum Dishwasher Detergent Capsules. I tried it and lo and behold, the dishwasher is like new. The bad smell is gone and the dishes become spotless. I immediately went to Amazon to buy more and was surprised that they were available at such a great price. The appliance repairman told me they were $5 each, I bought them on Amazon for $10 for 8 packs. At this price I will be flushing my dishwasher with it every 2 weeks instead of the recommended 4 weeks.
