I wasted my money on this clamp because the description didn't give a throat depth. I had to attach a 3 inch ear to the top of the cabinet sides so the toe would push off the top of the cabinet. This clip looked perfect but the cutout was about an inch short. The side handles reached no further than the ear to grab the edge of the cabinet. The clip works for edging, but if you're doing anything else be sure to check the required neck depth.
