Used with #10-24 stainless steel screws and stainless steel washers to attach a new humidifier to the metal top of my oven. I didn't want to rely on regular sheet metal screws not loosening over time.
- For use with machine screws and bolts of similar material. It can be reused more times than a double-sided reversible nut. Nylon steel insert locknuts are cheaper than class C locknuts for automation. However, nylon begins to degrade at temperatures between 150˚-350˚F.
