Review on 🍲 Stainless Steel 3 Quart Fondue Pot by Oster Inspire by Antonio Scisson

I bought this fondue pot based on my past experience with Easter products and found it to be as advertised and at a great price. As mentioned by previous buyers, there are a few design issues to consider when purchasing this device. The cable is SHORT. I laughed as the description gushed about the fragile electrical connection that was supposed to prevent someone from tripping over a cord and spilling hot liquid on someone. Unless the person is dancing on the table, there is no way they can trip over this cord as it doesn't reach far enough to even reach an outlet. That being said, I believe all users are violating the warnings and using a durable extension cord to circumvent the issue. I used my steak pot, used peanut butter to reduce splatter, and placed the pot in the center of the table for everyone to access. Although it is not necessary, I preheated the oil in a saucepan on the stove to cook the food better and then poured the oil into the saucepan at 180 degrees. That was great. The electrical connection is very poorly placed under one of the handles so I had to preset the thermostat, put it in the pot, plug it into an extension cord and then pour the oil into the pot. Only then did I turn on the power using the extension cord on the power strip. The pot works great, amazing price and very easy to clean - it can't be submerged in water but the non-stick surface makes it easy - at least when using oil. Be careful when inserting the forks into the pot when cooking or spreading food as the forks are metal and the inside of the non-stick pot may be scratched. I suggest you use bamboo skewers to get around this problem. The company brochure is multinational - the first in Spanish, the next in English and the third in Portuguese. Nice gesture. I highly recommend this product considering its design limitations.
