I had a $15 Walmart for about a year. Left on it once for a few minutes too long and it fried. That you could hardly make 30 psi in a car tire. On the other hand, THIS MODULE is great! The light is bright, I like the valve lock, the chord length is decent (reaches all four tires on a Subaru SUV) and I like the digital gauge with auto shutoff at any desired PSI. The block is light but feels decently solid. It doesn't vibrate too much and isn't very loud. I would call it a compact device, but at the same time it's not too big so it can easily be stowed in the back of an SUV. Inexpensive purchase in any case!
