I just installed this filter on a 2009 Wrangler, couldn't be simpler. I have never owned a car that didn't have a K&N filter changed within a week of purchase, including motorcycles. However, it was literally the easiest setup yet. There are no markings on the K&N for proper orientation, also make sure the small printed logo on the side (not easy to find as it's black on black) is right side up and the shape of the "Home Plate" faces inward. right direction. However, there's only one way it will fit, so you can't go wrong. Even if you try to install the filter upside down, the filter pleats and rim must be in the correct position for the filter cover to be reinstalled. Great filter. Fits great, easy to assemble, my jeep loves it.
