Instructions for using this film

This film can be used with a handheld exposure meter or phone application to focus on the subject. If the readings fall in between, you'll have to side with overexposure every time. Do not use the camera's exposure meter as there is a risk of underexposure. The underexposed photos are some of the worst I've seen. This movie doesn't do that at all, and you need to know that before you tackle it. Shooting landscapes and even the beach is pretty bad as lights get overexposed easily and the polarizing filter can cause underexposure elsewhere. For a cheaper film, that's not that much. The color balance is brilliant at times, at other times the cityscapes can look like traditional old-school emulsion. Resolution is low, graininess can be poor even in well-exposed landscape shots. Go for Ultramax, which is realistic and similarly priced and delivers a nice looking film with softer grain and much higher resolution. If you're really new to film photography, if you don't know what you're doing or use a flash, you'll probably be disappointed.
