I bought this digital camera with binoculars because my job involves traveling A LOT around the world and I often take vacations on both sides of work to get the best out of my work . travel items. They are pretty light and the binoculars are pretty good. One of the reasons I bought it was to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. As a result, I didn't have to take my DSLR with various telephoto lenses for long distances. I can use my smartphone for normal photos and binoculars for longer distances and still have decent binoculars with me. I was very impressed with the quality of the photos from a long distance until something went wrong after removing the micro SD card about 4 times to save the photos to my laptop. The small internal spring mechanism that holds the micro SD card in the socket has completely failed, so the micro SD no longer remains in the binoculars' electronics. It is not possible to take photos and videos without a micro SD memory card. Now I did a little work to fix it. I am a trained electronics engineer. I opened up the camera (now working in the UK) and took a look at the internal electronics. They are pretty thin in design. Not durable at all. I used some super glue to hold the micro SD card in the recording port, let it heal and then put everything back together. Now it works, but apparently now I can only upload photos to my laptop via the USB port and I can never remove the micro SD card. This product failed after literally "4" uses. If you're buying a set, I don't recommend removing the micro SD card after it's firmly seated in the receiving port. Such relatively expensive devices, even the simplest, should not fail after so little use. VERY disappointed in this way and I think the supplier really should send me another pair, confirmed to be in good condition, to my Southern California address when I get home. I hope this helps you all.
