This Anderson connector is manufactured and sold under different names so the original patent has expired. In any case, these connectors are solid, but no instructions came with them. This allowed an idiot like me to try to hook the edge of the metal pin to the case instead of flipping it over so it properly hooks into the metal clip holding it in place. I found out thanks to Youtube. Also, since there were no instructions, I didn't know the best way to crimp or solder the wire, or the recommended crimping method.
