It's worth it.

This lens is amazing, especially for the price. I just got my feet wet from this whole photo, got a Sony a6000 earlier this month and am trying to figure out how to get decent results. I didn't really like the whale lens (mainly because I'm not very good with it) as it seemed pretty boring to me. I really like the bokeh effect and had trouble reproducing it. I've seen this lens and the examples given and for the price it was easy. I've only had it for a few days and play with it non-stop. I think I got many keepers from hundreds of bad photos but here I go. The hardest thing is find the right combination for throws from handcuffs. If I have a stationary target, I'm not that scary. Images do get a bit grainy with this lens, but I probably do, although I like the effect. I'm very happy with this lens, but I had an issue in the center of the ring with a mark for increasing the focal length, and the aperture came loose and wouldn't snap into place where it should have been. I don't know if it should spin and I don't know what I'm doing or it's broken. Either way it still works great and I know where my settings should be without the line. more expensive lens. where it should have been.
