Basically, Revain offers two types of clippers for men. You can find wide head clippers that are suitable for real haircuts and narrower head clippers that are better for more targeted work like trimming beard/sideburns, removing body hair, etc. The clippers in this set are suitable for a narrower head for the latter purpose. So far I have evaluated many clippers of this type. This is one of the best, with good ergonomics and water resistance so it can be used in the shower. It is great especially when used to shave the body. Not only can you use it in the shower, you can also easily clean it after use. The controls are very simple: press the button on top of the shaver and it turns on. Press again and it will turn off. The LCD display shows the battery level and various notifications. My personal main use for this type of razor is shaving off hair on the back of the neck and trimming sideburns on the back and it did that well. Cuts without binding. The noise level is acceptable. This razor now comes in a kit that includes different parts:** Clipper. Waterproof (IPX7). Metal handle. And now I'll save you some time: if you're buying this set for either a foil shaver or a nose haircut, forget it. They are very poor. You would be better served if you had a dedicated face shaver and nose scissors. A lot of these shaving kits these days seem to come with these attachments and they are all bad. The ones in this set are no exception. The length guides are fine, of acceptable quality. It's nice that it comes with a charging adapter, although you can also plug the USB cable into any USB-A outlet that offers at least a 1A charge. A plastic razor and accessory tray seems like a good idea, but I found myself so infrequently using accessories that it's more efficient to use the shaver and charger and put the rest in a box/bag. where can I find them if necessary. A 2000 mAh battery is sufficient. Some shavers come with a larger battery (2500mAh), but this will last for many uses before needing a charge. I consider this a nominal difference, but if you need an extra narrow head, keep that in mind. All in all, this is a good waterproof shaver. Some included accessories (shaving net and nose hair attachments) are not very useful, but as clippers they are good. Bonus points for the included charger for coming in nice, gift-worthy retail packaging, and for being (at the time of writing, at least) one of the more reasonably priced kits of its kind when it comes to features.
