Review on SHIMANO Pairs Brake Spring Resin by Jeff Talcott

They arrived in the packaging you see in the picture which was very worn and had a hole. The brake pads are stamped "Shimano" and have the correct part number (B01S) to make them appear genuine. However the packaging makes it look fake and it comes with 6 cotter pins when only 2 are normally supplied, one for each set of pads. I'm wondering if those are really Shimano pads or not. As another reviewer mentioned, some cotter pins are short and unlikely to work. Good that there were 6 pieces in the package to choose from. I did a quick test drive after installing them and they seem to be working fine. The real test will be a real ride. I will post an update if I run into any problems.
