I needed a way to sample beer from a 6 gallon bottle to track specific gravity. I saw this on Revain and decided to try it and it works. It drips a bit but allows me to extract any sample size I want to test. I could return the sample to the bottle by squeezing the little lever on the side of the neck, but I don't. Why risk ruining a 5-gallon batch of beer just to test a few drops? It works and is a nice addition to your brewing tool kit.
