No VHF Reception: Marine Electronics

I live in an area where all but one TV station operates on the UHF band. Little did I know when I bought my current UHF antenna that all the transmitters were non-UHF. Luckily I don't watch this channel very often, so the lack of signal doesn't bother me. After seeing this product and reading the description and reviews about it, I decided to give it a try. It wasn't very expensive so I said what the heck and ordered one. It hooked up easily and the included splitter allowed me to connect the cable from this VHF upgrade kit and my UHF antenna to the TVs around the house. Channels I have received before and I have not received the FM channel either. I tried changing the position of the antenna, connecting it to just one TV, rescanning that TV, but nothing worked on VHF. After playing with it for a while I unplugged it, plugged all the TVs back in and viola, I was now receiving all the UHF channels that I was receiving before. I wish it would work, but losing some of the UHF channels I watch regularly and still not being able to get that one VHF channel I watch sometimes wasn't good compensation, so I returned it for a refund which is something I very rarely do.
