if you require a straight line to be a straight line, these ain't gonna do it for you …
these are not accurate and are really cheaply made … simple test is to set one up and scribe a line onto a piece of scrap, straight wood. reverse the angle, place your gauge in the same spot and you should scribe the exact same line after flipping the gauge … with this set you end up with two lines starting at the same point but drifting towards the end … keep looking and don't be afraid to spend more to help your work be better …
