For twenty years, I have been riding Velcro. Winter mode: 95% in the city, 5% outside the city. Season 50/50. Traveled (primarily) to Bridgestone and Good-er, Toyo throughout the previous ten years. Different versions were available, along with winter and summer. The Turanza ER300 that emerged from the manufacturer was popular with Summer. five seasons of driving it! If we discuss the challenging winter season, Bridgestone, for instance, really liked the WS-60; it's a shame they stopped producing it. I've been riding the REVO GZ for the past few of seasons, but it's too soft and rapidly loses its luster. During this period, there was some rocking, and I made a principled decision to avoid "asymmetric" rubber in the future. The "novelties" are expensive, and they drive somewhat oddly. There are no friends for taste and color, as they say, but shops have a limited selection, so you have to pick one. This season, a combination of pricing, quality, features, and reviews were taken into consideration when choosing a new kit. I chose the Nordman RS2 SUV (with a reinforced sidewall) over the Nokian on the advice of friends who owned and sold Nokians, despite the fact that I only have a hatchback with higher ground clearance. Time-tested, reasonably firm rubber. Serious performance is paired with lovely "sporty" design. I went with a little larger size (225/50/17), since I don't drive on spikes, I repeat. This rubber has left a very good first impression, and I anticipate that it will survive at least three seasons. As a substitute, I thought about Nitto (daughter of Toyo, Japan), who are well-regarded, but as I was considering my options, the price increased by the season, so I decided to go with Nokian. The kit costs twenty-five Tyrs.
