Review on TITENEY Portable Monitor Computer Speaker 15.6", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Touchscreen, by Darius Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad screen for the price.

As shown in the first image, I was only able to power the screen from my laptop via a USB-C connection (no external power required). Of course, this will quickly drain my laptop's battery, but it's pretty cool that it can do this when you need it. It took me an embarrassing time to figure out the boner. There were no instructions on how to use the stand and the product videos didn't show anything either. So I've attached photos showing how to use the stand. Use a magnet to attach the short part of the stand to the back of the monitor along the monitor bar. Fold the footrest back, then insert the top so only the end is sticking out. It holds the monitor even if the part you are inserting seems to be pushed away from the monitor. The stand doubles as a briefcase-style protective case. The color of the screen is a bit "yellow" compared to my HP monitor and laptop screen. It's not very noticeable unless you compare it directly to other screens. The maximum brightness is not super bright, but it does the job. I don't use the built-in speakers very often, but they're great to have. The touchscreen is pretty good, but it doesn't respond perfectly to the edges of the screen. This monitor is light and thin. Sometimes when I'm sitting on the couch I'll connect my laptop to a monitor, close the lid of my laptop and just use the monitor to interact with my laptop since it's thinner and lighter than my laptop. In addition, the screen is larger, so it is comfortable to watch programs on it. The button on the side is not very well thought out. If you want to use the monitor in portrait mode, you have to orient it with the buttons facing down (because the USB cables come out the other way). If it's on a hard surface, the button will be pressed and the monitor will turn off or do weird things. I think the button and dial should have been placed in a recess on the back of the monitor. It has a few downsides, but overall it works well. If you are looking for a cheap portable monitor, this is a good choice.
