Review on TITENEY Portable Monitor Computer Speaker 15.6", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Touchscreen, by Emanuel Power

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Big disappointment for almost $200. I recommend looking elsewhere

I hope my experience with this is not normal. as it was a big disappointment at almost $200. Pros: The touchscreen is decent. (Although a bit clumsy) - The cables are good quality and durable. - Unlike many other portable monitors, I was only able to connect it to my laptop via Type-C. (My laptop was connected). So only one cable was needed to connect this monitor, which was really nice. My laptop connected to this monitor quickly and easily. Cons: - There is a film on the screen that you need to remove once received. (To protect the screen in transit) Well when I carefully removed mine it landed between the screen and the bezel below. So, after you take it off, a film border is stuck at the bottom of the screen. I would have to carefully remove the film stuck to the bottom if I cared enough. At the bottom right, the screen and bezel are separate. It was not glued properly or quality checked. It's funny that a nearly $200 monitor has part of the bezel and screen separated right out of the box. The menu slider on the left works upside down lol. In earnest. When I want to use the menu, I have to press it down so the pointer goes up. The magnetic lid/stand was annoying and confusing to set up. I'm also not a big fan of how it works. There's a flap that presses against your flat service and holds the screen at your angle. Sounds great right? Well, it's finicky and easily slips back and collapses if you push too hard. I don't know why they chose this design as it's a touchscreen and has to withstand the constant pressure on the screen. The cable intended to connect to the wall and to the device to power it is not long enough. He barely reached the plug and the distance wasn't that great. I noticed that the screen gets blurrier as the brightness increases. The average user may not notice this, but for designers, editors, artists, etc., this won't be enough for color accuracy. - Every time I turn on the monitor, the brightness resets to very low. So I have to manually lighten it every time. Overall 2.9/5. Big disappointment for the price. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
