Very good display, some flaws

This is a very nice, very thin display that can be used in a variety of ways. The picture is sharp and the touchscreen is a great feature. There are a few flaws that I experienced with what I received. I'm not sure if this is an isolated case or if these issues are common. Pros: * Clear picture, very clear colors, the screen will be beautiful and bright. * Easy to use multiple inputs. * Very thin. With the included case/lid, it fits easily in a briefcase or bag.* Plug and play on PC. No additional driver or application downloads are required for proper operation.* Built-in speakers. When used with my Nintendo Switch, there was no loss of sound leakage when using this display. Cons: * Every time your computer goes to sleep, this indicator resets in terms of volume and brightness. So if I walk away long enough for my computer to turn off the displays, the display goes down to 20% when I wake up. The brightness has to be adjusted every time I use it.* My power button is there but does nothing. There's not even a click, meaning it's likely stuck completely in the case, or there's no button underneath. * The selector switch on my device is confusing. When using the menu, the switch on the side moves the display on the screen versus what I'm trying to do. So when I press the toggle switch up, the selection moves down the screen and vice versa. It's very annoying to have to remind myself every time I adjust the brightness.* The body/lid doubles as a stand, which is nice but not possible on a smooth surface. I couldn't get it to stand on my sleek kitchen table, I had to sit at my desk with a mouse pad underneath to give it enough support to stand on its own. There are rubber feet on the bottom of the display, but there is nothing on the stand and it slides until the whole device lies flat.* When removing the protective film for first use, it fully penetrated the case and I felt like I was digging it damage when removing. Overall I like this ad. However, it looks like there are a few design flaws that prevent it from being truly great. After the adjustment, the picture is very good and works very well. Part of setting up using this device is making it drag-and-drop. While I realize this is fairly inexpensive for portable displays, there is still a lot to be desired in terms of quality control.
