I used to have a Cambridge Soundworks CD player, which was great until I accidentally loaded two CDs into the slot at the same time and had to destroy the whole machine to get them out and back in. Library . On this machine, the lid of the CD compartment lifts up, so that can't be a problem. The sound is good and the machine has been working as it should since I've had it, but on the other hand there is no fast forward or rewind in the track and when the machine is turned off it automatically reverts to the first track to save where If you are on a CD, it must be paused in order for the engine to run the entire time it is paused. Of course, if it's unplugged and moved, it reverts to track 1, and if you then redirect the CD to the track you were on, you have to listen to the entire track to get back to where you were. I didn't want wi-fi next to my head in the bedroom so it's fine, no wi-fi. Haven't tried the radio yet. I use this exclusively for library CDs
