I bought this for my golf car to install on my iphone 12 to use the driving and golf apps without tethering the cup holder where the phone is behind the wheel and heavy to see is. It is easy to install, I installed it on the windshield crossbar with no problems. It makes up about 5/8ths of the tube and holds well without slipping. Vibration makes your phone difficult to read small text and maps, and some apps think you're typing! No problem with this product, just FYI. I don't know if anything can be done to dampen the vibration with a mount. I'm having the same issues with a phone just stuck in a cup holder. My phone fits without removing the case, although getting it in and out quickly can be a bit difficult. The rubber bands holding the phone block the corners a bit, an issue for one of my apps with a commonly used button in the corner, again not a mounting issue, just FYI. My only concern is the length of the rubber straps that hold the phone in place. I've been using it for a few weeks now, use it frequently and haven't noticed any damage or wear to the rubber so far. Only time can tell. Overall I am very happy with the mount and am planning to buy a second one for my wife.
