so I've seen all the negative reports about there being no holes in the tube that the end cap screws onto. I have previously bought another flashlight and was disappointed with how big the flame was, I needed a nice blue pencil flame. therefore this is recommended. Well I have it and what you know is NO HOLES! I thought for a second I screwed it up too. then i remembered i had an old lantern in my garage, how do you know it's the same model! so i unscrewed it. and no holes! Pure magic! so I screw a new one on the bottle and. A beautiful flame comes out. moral of the story. Do not return it or call it junk until you have verified it. Just because you don't see a hole or holes doesn't mean there aren't any. I wish I had a microscope to see how they did it. but i can confirm it. works and has no holes. I can not see you. but it lights up and works. and that's all that counts! Flame is a beautiful pencil and would fit perfectly in my glow machine!
