I used these to replace a number of 20 year old magnetic latches in the custom, flush door cabinets in our kitchen and dining room:- They're more compact (though the magnetic part fit the existing screw holes) and less obtrusive.- The stainless steel is attractive.- The adhesive strips are useful to hold the plates in place long enough to drill starter holes for the screws, much easier than trying to mark where they go; a time saving feature.- They hold the doors closed securly but aren't so strong as to make them difficult to open.- They included extra screws and adhesive strips which is a help.A minor complaint is that the plates placed on the magnets were backwards, i.e., the chamfer for the flat screw holes was on the wrong side. Easy enough to turn them around unless you forget in which case you need to remove the adhesive from the wrong side and from the cabinet door. Only happened once.
