I have a 100lb GS. She is almost 10 years old and is gradually developing arthritis in the back of her body. She always slept on the floor because she refused to sleep on a bed or blanket and would tug and chew on other dog beds that I had bought for her. But because of her pain, I decide to try again. Not sure what the difference is but she likes THIS bed. She sleeps on it quite a bit (although she sometimes moves onto the floor when she gets hot I think) and hasn't tried chewing on it at all. Maybe she's just gotten older, but I'm so glad because it obviously eases her pain. A very happy customer!
