The Foundation for Technology Innovation is a non-profit organization founded on the belief that technology can help to advance policy tracking, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) in the social sectors of health, education, and agriculture in Nigeria and the West African sub-region for the greater good.
By providing interesting methods to gather data for decision making, the foundation intends to create venues for innovators throughout the public sector and the development space to experiment and use the power of technology to face real-world difficulties and policy concerns.
The Foundation for Technology Innovation aspires to build a knowledge-based ecosystem that uses Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning to address social policy issues in Health, Education, and Agriculture, as well as to develop and empower a new generation of digitally skilled youth who can benefit from the digital economy of the twenty-first century.
Some of their missions are as follows:
- To offer human capacity-building programs aimed at developing digitally relevant skills for civic tech solutions that address social challenges.
To promote the use of ICT M&E to resolve developmental difficulties and to create local talent capable of using technology to support future data analytics for project, program, and policy performance monitoring and evaluation.
