This is awesome! Instead of a $3,000+ all-day repair by a mechanic or a two-week DIY fix, these Arnott aftermarket air springs require 2% time (labor), 2% complexity, 5% tools, and of course 30%. the parts costs of original spare parts from the manufacturer! This is due to the elimination of a fastener-like air tank hidden within the suspension rather than the complete disassembly required to access it on OEM models. in Arnott designs they are built into the air spring. This is easy to do by hand with a proper safety car lift and a small amount of metric tools (including a 2ft crowbar) - I have all the half inch sockets and it worked great. My car drives better than ever, even on the worst road in San Jose, Highway 87. Everything seems spotless. No back pain! This was not a problem after a walk on a dirt road in the mountains. My original air springs are simply worn out: the bag wears out and holes appear. The availability of an inexpensive, high quality, and easily replaceable air spring has given Mercedes and other air spring vehicle owners the opportunity to reuse their vehicles after they have lost their value. This means that we can own these very old luxury air spring cars in full health for much longer. This is a breakthrough product.
