When buying a glass for work, I had the main requirements: 1) 100% QUALITY glass: material. Material. Material. a. Leaching: Glass is an ideal material for storing hot beverages because it doesn't leach unwanted flavors into the beverage. b. Cleanability: Quality glass leaves no stains. You may have to rub, but anything that dries will eventually rub off. in. Transparency: This is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. I know how much I have left and when it needs cleaning. 2) Form Factor: The size is spot on. a. 16 ounces: I don't want to go to the cafeteria multiple times, so 16 ounces is a must. b. Wide Opening: Very rare and very underrated. With a nice wide opening, I can easily put my hand in to clean it. No fancy brush required. in. Short Height 4.75 inches: The coffee dispensers here have a low headroom and they barely get in while still saving 16 ounces. The double wall is just a sauce over it. the weight. The handles are also perfect for tying on a tea bag. I cannot recommend this mug enough. My only reservation was durability given the relatively thin glass, but I've been less and less careful with it and haven't had any issues. I have no doubt it will break if you drop it.
