Review on Everlast Mixed Martial Heavy Gloves by Brandon Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good gloves. for sport

I took a chance on buying these because my typical glove size is 2xl or 3xl but I've heard they run a little big and they do. I personally can't use 180" wraps with these gloves and will use a pair of 108" wraps instead. So if your hands are bigger, this is something to consider. The seam under the (useless) thumb cuff can be quite uncomfortable and you need to make sure you put the glove on COMPLETELY, this eliminates the pressure point and when you wrap your hands remember to give that part at least 1 layer on the arm and you will eliminate the problem. I haven't had time to abuse them for weeks or months to see what they can handle but I've done 3 very serious heavy workouts on them and so far they're comfortable and durable. I do NOT like the thumb cuff and would just remove it altogether and the wrist strap might change the design a bit, it's really hard to tighten especially with a glove on. But these are minor complaints and not necessarily something that will bother everyone but me. In general, if you have big hands and can't find pouch gloves, I highly recommend these. However, note that shorter bandages may be required.
