Questionable quality

The gloves I ordered are too small. I ordered size XL and my bare hand barely fit. There is no way to use them with hand wraps. The seams on the thumbs were uncomfortable and stood out rough. The gloves were made with some sort of vinyl coating that looks like it doesn't wear well, but I have no proof of this, that's just my opinion. If you think about the quality of EVERLAST products of the past, think again.

Surprised by the quality of these gloves

I bought these because they were cheap and just wanted something to get back into a bit of fitness. When I was younger (80's-90's) I would pay $35-50 for regular pouch gloves with no wrist support (and you MUST use cloth bandages with pouch gloves on your hands to avoid ankle or wrist injuries). These gloves have exceeded my expectations and offer very good wrist support thanks to the Velcro straps. I don't know how well they hold up yet, but they're better than the regular gloves I grew up…

Good for the Price: Bag Gloves

I've been using these for quite some time. Used for heavy pockets and sparring with a partner. They lasted quite a while but eventually the outside of my right glove broke as you will see in some of the other reviews. At first I bought them because they were cheaper. I even used them with the ripped look today and they stick together pretty well. I would also like to say that I have never bought gloves before so I didn't know what size to buy and they were a bit tight on my hands which might…

Ordered, received, sent back same day

Lots of reviews say L/XL still feels small and that's without my wraps. The plastic is thin. I admit I ordered thinking Everlast gloves were real leather. My mistake. The thumb feels hyper-open and vulnerable, although it may not be quite so. Who knows, but what matters is my psychological well-being knowing my thumb is better protected. So I send them back the same day I received them. I'd rather pay 2-3 times more for a pair of Reyes gloves. They didn't sink like Everlast, the brand of my…

I love these gloves

In the past I have practiced various martial arts from karate to wrestling and have spent some time sparring and working with dummies but lately I have really gotten into heavy bag training and it has become part of my training added. I wore regular gloves to the gym for a while, but there were two things I really hated. First, they were disgusting and smelled of someone else's sweat, and second, they were boxing gloves. They were hot, bulky, and heavy, and didn't mimic real hand-to-hand…

Good gloves. for sport

I took a chance on buying these because my typical glove size is 2xl or 3xl but I've heard they run a little big and they do. I personally can't use 180" wraps with these gloves and will use a pair of 108" wraps instead. So if your hands are bigger, this is something to consider. The seam under the (useless) thumb cuff can be quite uncomfortable and you need to make sure you put the glove on COMPLETELY, this eliminates the pressure point and when you wrap your hands remember to give that part…
