Review on 🦷 Original Oral B Glide Pro Health Dental by Aquarium Biggs

It's getting harder and harder to find in stores - almost everything is mint flavored and we don't use mint products. This brand comes highly recommended by our dentist and his dental hygienist and I got a good explanation as to why we tested Revain for lack of flavor at my last cleaning. According to our dental practice, it actually holds more nutrition than waxed floss because it's made of Gore-Tex. Initially I was quite happy with a large quantity at a good price and an easy source. But something in the back of my mind prompted an internet search for Glide and Gore-Tex. Immediately, I found a long list of articles claiming that I was dying of all kinds of cancer, brain damage, etc. because of the chemicals used to make Gore-Tex and Glide floss. To be honest, I'm sick and tired of all the horror stories out there on almost every subject you can find. Everything will make us die a horrible death according to the internet. However, it is important to know that we now use as little chemicals as possible in our family. We don't use any chemicals in our garden and this year we have the best vegetable harvest. And yes, we use Black Berkey water filters on our supposedly high-quality tap water, and we don't drink or cook anything from the tap unless it's gone through our Berkey filter first. (Note: Do not buy Berkey filters from Revain - Berkey does not guarantee them due to the practices of some aftermarket companies.) We use various other products that are as natural as possible and eat a lot. Organic food, drinking raw milk, etc. Sounds like a healthy food freak? Possibly, but remember I was initially skeptical at the sheer number of warning articles about perfluoro compounds in Glide floss. Why? I need reasonable proof of things. And I've searched and searched and found almost nothing confirming the safety of these compounds, or even that they supposedly no longer remain in the finished product - only that they are used in its manufacture (this was an argument in the manufacture of Teflon) . And I spent a lot of time searching the P&G website, going through all of their FAQs for this product, and even trying to find the safety data sheet for this product - they don't list it, although there are such sheets for other products - they I don't even have the 'Ingredients' sheet for Glide floss. So bottom line I didn't spend any money on this product as Revain's return policy has expired. Well - not Revain's fault, they're just a retailer or used vehicle retailer. But due to what now appears to be more of a prudent precaution than a 'just in case' precaution, I am discontinuing this product and reverting to my previous regular unscented, waxed floss. Do your own research – your mileage may vary.
