Review on Pentek C1 20 Carbon Impregnated Cellulose Cartridge: Enhanced Filtration for Cleaner Water by Kevin Harmon

I work at a large food processing plant and we filter the water in our oven monthly with these pups (which means we replace them monthly) and they work great! I actually bought two housings for personal use, one for installing my fridge (pre-filter) and one for my water tank in the Dart Frog fog system. In both aspects they work great! Back at work these things get a lot of use, I'd say they beat their rating and after a month they're covered in scale/limescale on the outside but with preventative maintenance and replacement the inside looks like new nothing happened! In industry you'll need to replace monthly, but for home use I'm looking at semi-annually if not annually depending on usage!
