Okay, it worked fine when we first got it about two months ago, maybe less. Then every time I drank water, I felt like something was sticking to my teeth, which is not a good sign for me. So I decided to test with HP paper, it was the same 7.50 from tap water. I then took a digital HD tester and what do you know? 7.50! So I try to change the filter and you know what?! It's too tight to even change the filter! Place in hot water with vinegar as directed. Did it work? No! I'm happy? Oh, I'm far from happy!* By the way, we're a family of five, so I think the filter needs to be changed a lot more often* Update----Finally we changed the filter. Only worked well for a few days. I'll tell you one thing, I will never buy another cartilage filter again. Why? this is a joke The water is alkaline but poorly filtered. It is better to use a reverse osmosis system. I threw away that one filter system. Not healthy.
