later for $50+ I expect better quality than this, I weigh 160lbs, am 6ft 0in tall and have to put almost my entire body weight on it to adjust the height (the screw it just locks) and the laptop weighs 3-8 lbs, no such resistance needed. Even after all this resistance when I put my laptop on it it tilts to the left so the laptop isn't sitting straight and is driving me insane. I am considering returning this product. I got this stand because it was more open at the bottom to allow for better airflow, but that wasn't the right answer. But if you want a stand that can be set higher than most, then don't be bothered by tilt or aggressive height adjustment resistance. This is the stand for you. (Maybe I got a bad one, who knows)
