Like everyone else I bought them because of the low price. I wasn't expecting much in terms of durability so wasn't surprised when two drill bits (2mm) were useless after 2 or 3 holes in shale (from a core sample). But after 20 holes in shale and three holes in amethyst comes the third drill! So I used a 3mm drill and drilled three more holes in the amethyst and this drill still works. I suspect there is no quality control for them at this price point, but even if I have to throw away 1 out of 3, it's still a better buy than "big brand" products. I have 60 attachments to work with but will bring them back if I need to reload them. By the way, with a fake Dremmel (Craftsman) at 2000 rpm by hand. Haven't taken a photo yet. I would give this set 3 or 4 stars but because of the cheap price. 5 Stars.
