Well that's a disappointment. I chose Celestron as I have had good success with their products in the past including the reasonably well built USB microscope. This device is a big step forward. The magnet wheel is very difficult to control and seems to break with use. It has a thin sticker wrapped around the base that should show the magnet level but will definitely peel off soon. The grip knob is about the size of a grain of rice, unlike my previous Celestron. I could go on but I can't imagine this holding up to regular use. I'm assuming it's a Chinese manufacturer who bought Celestron and has their name on it. I will never trust Celestron for quality again. But it seems to be working. Should cost a maximum of β¬50.
