Getting OLD is easier to see.

I bought this magnifier because I collect coins, also I'm getting older and it's much easier to see on a computer screen and I can get a very clear picture with the A1080P system.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Appearance

Maybe suitable for a children's project

The one I bought was defective. this will work for a short time. From time to time, and then it gets very hot and turns off. It doesn't have the picture quality that some videos on the internet show.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Installation was easy, software was easy, image quality was what I expected and the end result? I enjoy it, from Rocks to Tiny Moths, it's a great little scope. Maybe I'll buy one for my granddaughter and grandson soon.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Only available in black

Perfect! No PC connection required!

The magnification and clarity are excellent, but what's most impressive is the fact that you just plug it into an outlet and hook up the scope to your monitor. An HDMI cable is included. Once connected, turn on the visor and monitor and start viewing. To store images of your objects you need a micro SD card, which is sold separately.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Confusing

Problem focusing at high magnification.

The image on our display is excellent. However, there are two problems. The display we have and this microscope can't see each other very well. We have to turn them on and off several times for them to connect. We understand that this can be our monitor. Support did not help. Another problem is that at high magnification the focus point is inside the transparent protective lens. This prevents you from examining anything with a large magnet, except for very small items sticking out inside. The…

Poor build quality like my old Celestron

Well that's a disappointment. I chose Celestron as I have had good success with their products in the past including the reasonably well built USB microscope. This device is a big step forward. The magnet wheel is very difficult to control and seems to break with use. It has a thin sticker wrapped around the base that should show the magnet level but will definitely peel off soon. The grip knob is about the size of a grain of rice, unlike my previous Celestron. I could go on but I can't imagine

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Software not included, no after sales service

It shows that a CD with software/drivers was included. I didn't have any type of disc in the box. Ok I think I can download what I need. It wasn't easy to find out which software/drivers as you didn't have the specific software for that product. I called support, the woman was borderline rude in the sense that every time I started talking to explain something she started talking to me and I could barely say what I needed to say. First they sent me drivers for the webcam, not the microscope…
