The fan itself is great. It pushes a ton of air. Although there is not much difference between the three speeds. For us, the lowest setting is comfortable even in our southern Louisiana heat. It also appears to be well built and will last a long time. The fastening system could be better. They want you to install with 2 screws through the bracket. It comes with cheap plastic anchors and they don't tell you which holes to drill for it. When installing in brick, do yourself a favor and get some metal anchors. I have an anchor with a 1/2" sleeve and it seems much more secure. Also, it would be better if there was a plate attached to the brick and then you attached a fan to it. This allows you to turn on the fan. Plate so you can point it in all directions. I ended up putting a thick washer on the screw first, then the fan mount and then securing it with the washer and nut that came with it. Now I can spin the fan in any direction with no problem.
