Attention, modifications may be necessary, as in my case. I bought an old Moen valve and a new Moen Voss shower head and this adapter. The holes on the fairing do not match the holes on this adapter. Centered on trim 2 inches, that's 2 1/8 centered. - Even if you can tighten the screws, they won't be straight. I couldn't drill and cut new holes in the adapter as it would be off-centre, instead I lengthened the holes on the bezel - unsatisfactory - the screws almost covered them, but I added clear silicone over the heads. It's very strange that one side of the company doesn't know what the other is doing.
