Review on HDMI Extender Splitter 1x2 with IR, UHD 1080P@60Hz, Extended Range of 165ft (50m) Over CAT5e/CAT6/CAT7 Cable, Dual Channel Transmission + HDMI Loop Out by Wayne Moody

Overall, $75 for a product that normally costs $500 does what I expected.

In general, the product works. Connections to power strips are finicky at worst. (When moving the extender block the signal is interrupted.) I had problems with 1080p at 60Hz on CAT6, I had to use 1080i 60Hz but there was still audio glitches. CAT5e worked at 1080p 60Hz, but the quality definitely suffered. The metal they used for the connections to the receiver and transmitter isn't copper, it's more chrome and reflective, so the connection might not hold either. I couldn't get IR sending/receiving to work at all, regardless of hardware wiring or otherwise. $75 total for a product that would normally cost you $500, it does what I expected.
