I used one of these Rockwell pads to remove the factory antique finish from an Epiphone Century guitar and it did a fantastic job. I used D'Addario polish for the job and the Rockwell pad not only lasted up to three hours of use, it washed and dried like new. I've been leaning a lot on the leading edges and toe of the last on this job and expecting it to degrade at least a little in the process. It wasn't like that. The metal mounting flange is also 1/32 inch smaller in diameter than the pad and this allowed me to get into 90 degree neck and body joint angles of the guitar without damage. I am very satisfied with the quality of this item. I've been keeping an eye on them for a long time and was dying to remove the old baked-on powder coating. I'm glad I took the job with this Rockwell pillow. It's hard to see in the photo, but the surface is like glass. I couldn't be happier with the performance and results. and dried.
